I can't decide if this is horribly ugly pattern or appealing. So of course I am using some bizarre material to sew it up. It is a printed silky material -- imagine Slippery Snake mated with Leopard Skin and you'll get the grim idea. This is Simplicity pattern 2856 which I think is a fairly new release. However, it also looks JUST like a blouse I had in the 1980's. HMMMmmm. I am keeping track of my trials and tribulations with both the material and the pattern.
Hint Hint. It took me 4 tries to figure out what exactly the pattern instructions were telling me to do with the neckline..sigh
